The first annual Film Studies in Japan (FSiJ) Conference will be held at Nanzan University, on March 1st.
The conference is split over two rooms. In the first there are 11 academic presentations (20-40 minutes each) split over 4 sessions, each with a Q&A session to allow for lots of audience interaction and participation. The second room will feature 4 workshops (1 hour each), including a screening and Q&A session with a professional filmmaker, video material workshops with YouTubers, and a talk from a UK based film academic and international conference organizer.
The event is free to attend, and audience members can either join us in person, or online. Please fill out the Google Form by clicking here, and we will send you a digital program (and Zoom link for online audience members) before the conference.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
